Something I never get to see in my little part of the Sonoran desert: dragon flies. Desert insects are not pretty or fun. They are gross and large and make scary noises and pinch or bite or sting, and as much of a lover of Mother Earth that I am I have no qualms about having the Orkin man spray the crap out of my house to make sure I don't wake up to a scorpion over my bed.
But dragon flies are alright. : )
I saw this one in the Florida panhandle.
i am in no way, shape or form into any kind of bugs or insects or vermin. or snakes. but i can appreciate and applaud photographs of them!!!!
